biographical information

 

Welcome to the Cala Inn family! We want you to feel at home at the Cala Inn, whether you're a local or a national or international visitor to Summit County, the "top floor" of the Colorado Rockies and home to some of the finest skiing and summer recreation in the world. Here is some background information about your staff...you can click on the envelope to send email to a staff member.

 

 

SCOTT POHLMAN – Scott is an honors graduate from the University of Northern Arizona School of Hotel and Restaurant Management. He has been in Summit County since 1991. He is a master brewer and is an award winning brewer (Telemark IPA). He has also been a ski instructor at Keystone for 11 years.

 

 

DOUG MACPHERSON – Or Michigan Man, Doug serves as our Chief of Public relations and pulls most of the day shifts behind the bar. The MacPhersons and the Pohlmans frequently travel together which is why Doug is in so many pictures with Scott.

 

KEITH VANES
Keith is a local carpenter extroardinare.


SCOTT DONNOVAN – Scott is a Keystone Reservations executive and resides near by with his wife Alex and child Morrison.

JOHN FEATHER – John is a local builder and a real fan of Guinness.

 

 

DAVE POHLMAN – Dave is a Denver Area businessman and has been in Colorado off and on since 1969. Dave moved to Colorado permanently in 1982. He is an active outdoors enthusiast and was on the 4th chair the day Keystone opened for the first time. Dave can bee seen in his family Tartan on frequent Saturday nights. His daughter Anne and her husband Todd Smith live in Arizona.

 

 

 

Liz Pankratz -Liz is the newest member of the staff. She is a lady of many talents, including First Mate of a sailing vessel plying the waters off Turkey (in the summer).
